Science is one of AMSA-UGM’s internal divisions that focuses on advancing our members in the field of research and academics. We provide the best resources for all AMSA-UGM members to achieve more, both academically and competitively, through training from various experts and a welcoming environment that encourages our members to reach their best potential. We believe that greatness does not depend only on talents and skills, but also on friends and family. That is why in Science we also promote connections between our members to find like-minded individuals that will always support each other. Together, we walk arm in arms to become better each day and every day. You don’t have to be great to be in Science, but you will surely be great afterward!

WORK PROGRAMS
LOCAL PAPER AND POSTER TRAINING (LPPT)
Local Paper and Poster Training is training held by the Science Division for all members of AMSA-UGM. This training is focused to prepare our members in making scientific paper, scientific poster, public poster, photography, and videography for national competitions, especially IMSTC. Not only training our members in the basic skills, but this training is also aimed to increase their knowledge in whatever topic is chosen as the theme for that year by inviting the relevant doctors and experts in the field.
ADVANCED TRAINING OF SCIENCE (ATS)
Let’s advance yourself with ATS! In this training, we will level up our skills, especially in research. Here, we try to deliver complex material in a simple and fun way, so the participants can understand it easier. All members of AMSA-UGM can join this training after they reserve their seats.
AMSA PAPER AND POSTER COMPETITON (APC) AND INTENSIVE CARE UNIT (ICU)
AMSA Paper and Poster Competition is a competition held for AMSA-UGM members to challenge themselves and compete with one another. Through this competition, we want to encourage the members to try something new, like making posters or scientific papers, and compete in further competitions. The participants of this competition also got the chance to be evaluated with a written evaluation, with hopes that the participants can learn from their mistakes and continue to improve in their abilities.
SCIENCE REELS
Science Reels is a fun and creative content on our Instagram. Themed around the topic of academic life, Science Reels exposes fascinating experiences about competitions and opportunities. It is hoped that Science Reels can increase the interest of all AMSA-UGM’s members in the research and academic fields.
EXAM PERIOD
Sometimes, it’s hard to learn by yourself. That’s why we hold Exam Period! In this program, AMSA-UGM members can study together to prepare themselves for exams. Helped by seniors who mastered the materials, we review last year’s exam questions and the materials related to it. Packaged in an interesting and fun method, we hope that this program can improve the academic abilities of AMSA-UGM members.
